The fourth edition of From the Studio Floor takes place at the prestigious Guildhall in the centre of Cambridge this autumn, and we are looking for new and established artists to share their work with us at this exciting exhibition.

From The Studio Floor

4-6 October – The Guildhall, Cambridge

From the Studio Floor will bring together artists and audiences from across Cambridge and the eastern region, giving new and aspiring artists, as well as those who are more established, the opportunity to show your work to hundreds of visitors, including potential patrons and buyers.

Sponsored by engineering consultancy MLM who have a well-established office in the city (one of thirteen across the UK) and operate nationally and internationally, the exhibition aims to highlight the work of around 40 artists, and it is hoped that many of these will be from the local area. A percentage of all sales will be donated to Cam Sight, a charity working to support visually impaired people across Cambridgeshire.

We are inviting artists to submit just one piece of work, which should be fresh from their ‘studio floor’: all exhibits must be previously unseen by the public. We welcome applications from anywhere in the world (although preference will be given to those from the local area) and can include conceptual works, etchings, installations, sculptures, drawings and paintings in any medium.

All submissions must be received by midnight on Sunday 28 August. There is no cost to participate in the exhibition, and all works should be available for sale.
