A one night projection of images on Weston Park museum on the theme of Yorkshire as a modern day Utopia. We can project your films, stills, drawings or poems.

God’s Own County is a collaborative event from Sheffield based arts collectives The Collaborators and The Professors. Huge projections will be shown on the front of Weston Park Museum in Sheffield. The Professors present work developed from the idea that their Yorkshire home presents a contemporary utopia whilst The Collaborators will create work developed from a regional response to the theme of God’s Own County. We aim to show everything that we recieve that fits the theme so the call is in everyway open to all.  The projection will run from dusk until dawn.  http://festival.yorkshire.com/events/gods-own-county.

Still images or films - probably best toi email me or have a chat if it's complicated

The projection takes place on the 16th June from about 10 pm

It's free to submit work for projection.
Are there payments to artists?
Sorry we cannot pay for any work
Is there a private view / opening?
Come and join us in the park - if you do come I will try and provide you with ba rougth time when your work will be projected.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
!0 until about 5.00 on the night of the 16th June.
Does the location have disabled access?
There will be no toilets available the park is open and flat although parking is an issue
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
The event is publicised widely though due to timing we are not expecting a large audience
Do I need to be present?
no
How do you decide on proposals?
Everything that fits the brief will be included.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
I will email you and you can tranfer me the work as a digital file I will then build it into an edit for projection
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
Simple and straightforward bright and bold graphic imagery works best for projection.
What is the selection criteria?
If it fits the bill we will project it - be nice if people try and make something new.
