Light Eye Mind, are pleased to invite artists to apply to the LEM Graduate Award 2016. The LEM team will select one artist to hold a solo exhibition at our gallery space in November 2016. The award is designed to assist one artist per year by providing the full support of the gallery and its team.

Light Eye Mind are pleased to invite artists to apply to the LEM Graduate Award 2016. Final year Fine Art students and those who have graduated within the last 3 years are eligible to submit work.

The LEM team and guest judge Hamish Pearch, will select one artist to hold a solo exhibition at the Light Eye Mind gallery space in November 2016. The award is designed to assist one artist per year by providing the full support of the gallery and its team.

“Light Eye Mind is an artist-run gallery. We understand through experience the post-institutional landscape that awaits can be difficult to navigate at best. This is why we are pleased to offer this stepping stone as a means of support through the early transitional stage of an artists career”.  

Applications are welcome from visual artists working in all media. Please note there is an application fee of £10 which can be paid via our website, click here to make payment. You can submit 3 works for consideration, these do not have to be what you show should you win the Grad Award, but they should be representative of your practice.

Note that each work should be made as a separate submission. Include the transaction ID on the submissions.

The deadline for submissions is Midnight on July 31st 2016, entries will not be considered after this date.

A notification of Light Eye Mind's decision will be made August 31st 2016.

The winning applicants exhibition will open: 4th November 2016.
