Artists ,designers makers selling directly to the public. Art in the Market bringing art into the heart of York city on the last Sunday of every month. Live music, street food stalls, demonstrations, workshops.

We offer a vibrant opportunity to sell your work directly to the public.

Stands are £38 for an 8ft by 2ft by 4ft high stall all presented ready for you to hang/place your work. We provide card sevices, and cover for breaks if you need them. All work  submitted for the gallery area goes to a submissions panel to ensure a good quality mix of artist/makers. 

If you have workshops your want to promote, please tell us in your application, we are happy to swap a stall for running a workshop on our market which is a great vehicle for gaining new customers. 

All our artists are given a page on our website and we actively promote your workshops, exhibitions and other enterprises through our social media and website.

Alternatively you could apply for a stall in our Brand New COMMUNITY ARTs area where we welcome all creative activity this area is un-selected and is a simple table top with no display boards. We offer 1 image and a short description and a link to your webspace if you have one.

We promote all our artists makers and creatives on our social media and our website, our aim is to create a community resource for support and sales and other artistic opportunity.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Any artist, maker, designer, craftsman, crafter anybody who makes and wants to sell their creations
When is the deadline?
Our last market of the year will be November so we need to hear from you all year with a cut off 7 nov. Though you can apply for next year too.
When is the delivery date?
Market dates are June 26th, July 31st, August 28th, September 25th, October 30th, November 27th.
