MadLab, the UK’s most active Makerspace, presents MAKE STUFF: A series of free coding, making and tech events for both adults and young people this summer. Over the next few months we'll be heading to Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan - join us! MAKE STUFF is hitting Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan. And we'd love you to be a part of it! You can get involved in two ways: as a Volunteer – and as a Maker. MAKE STUFF is also looking for talented makers, crafters, and technical minds across Greater Manchester to bring the best of DIY science, craft and technology to a wide audience.

MAKE STUFF has previously featured: virtual reality, Minecraft, soldering, programming, craft activities and arcade games.

 

The Details:

 

Most MAKE STUFF events will be held in August and September, on the weekends, from 9am until 5pm. We also require extra assistance across the weekdays in the MadLab office in the run up to the live event dates.

 

All volunteers will be reimbursed for food and travel expenses.

Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre – Saturday 20th August

All Souls Bolton – Saturday 27th August

Gallery Oldham – Saturday 3rd September

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Anyone! As long as you can demonstrate you've got something cool to demo, a fun activity idea or a tried and tested workshop to deliver.
When is the deadline?
There's no deadline - we're running events across August well into September, plenty of chances for you to get involved.
Do I need to be present?
Yes, you'll need to run your stall/demo/activity hands on in front of our audience.
