Exhibit: is looking for an artist to display 2D artworks in Yorkshire Dance in Leeds to celebrate Juncture Festival.

Juncture Festival is a festival of contemporary dance held in various dance venues in the city of Leeds. The festival runs from the 25th-30th October and is curated by Gillie Kleiman. To celebrate the festival and contemporary dance, Exhibit: is looking for an artist or artists to display some artwork in Yorkshire Dance.

Yorkshire Dance is a dance and culture hub located in Leeds City Centre. The space Exhibit: wants to fill is a long stretch of wall that links visitors to the building and the dance studios. Yorkshire Dance hold many dance classes to people of all ages which means there is a high volume of footfall especially during the Juncture Festival, as people from all over the country come to take part and watch the performances.

We would like artists to submit artwork that explores the theme of MOVEMENT. The space suits 2D rather than 3D artwork, and we are happy to receive submissions from the media such as photography, illustration, print and painting, that will suit the Yorkshire Dance space. The hanging system we will use will support unframed as well as framed works. Framed works should have d-rings attached to the back of the frame.

Deadline is 30th September. The successful artist or artists will be notified by 4th October, deadline for delivery of work Thursday 12th October, exhibition will be hung Thursday 13th October.
