Arts practitioners from the performing arts sector: practitioners of all caliber (professional, student, amateur, etc) and genre are welcome. Arts practitioners local and abroad are encouraged to apply. We value artistic innovation and excellence - they are important criteria in selection process. Successful applicants are expected to present a culmination of their residency at the end of the residency period; forms of presentation may include but are not limited to: workshops, talks, performances, showcases. Applicants must be able to speak and understand English and/or Mandarin.

Residency Period: Residencies are subject to availability throughout the year. Residency periods are at a minimum of one week and a maximum of 3 months long.

Residency Fees: Residency Fees are 30USD per night per artist, with an additional 15 USD for each additional artist after the first. 

Application Dealine and Fee: Applicaiton is open all year long and the fee is 20 USD.

Facility: The Facility includes two experimental performance spaces, private studios, restrooms and a kitchen. A maximum of 30 hours (per week) of usage of these spaces (performance spaces, private studios) is allocated to each artist in residence. Aforementioned spaces are subject to availability. 

Housing and Meals: Artists will reside in single rooms in the facility. Twin rooms can be arranged for artists in pairs. Breakfast is provided and kitchen is available for artists' use.

Internet Access: Wireless internet is available throughout the facility.

Accessibility: There is unfortunately limited accessibility at the moment for people with limited mobility and wheelchairs.

Applicants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own airfare and transportation to Kuala Lumpur, health insurance, visa fees, living expenses, work material and any other expenses.
