The Annex Collection £500 Acquisition Award supports artists with a small injection of funds to assist with the continuation of practice. Open to submissions from artists working across all mediums.

The Annex Collection £500 Acquisition Award supports artists with a small injection of funds to assist with the continuation of practice.

The Collection provides a platform for purchasing work and asks that the artist who is selected for the £500 Acquisition Award, exchange their selected original work for inclusion in our collection.

The Award is open to submissions from artists working across all mediums. As well painting, printmaking, sculpture and installation, we welcome submissions from artists working in moving image and video, performance, and participatory practices. We advise artists to submit work they consider to be of a value close to £500.

How many works can I submit?
Up to 3
When is the delivery date?
Delivery is arranged after the winner is announced. At present, we are unable to pay for postage and/or transport costs for the delivery of winning works. This remains the artist's responsibility however where possible we will come and collect work.
How much does it cost?
£10 for entry of 3 works.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
The shortlisted and winning artists for each round are featured on the TACUK website (www.tacuk.org). Occasionally parts of the collection are exhibited and notify the artists of this where possible.
What does the winner receive?
The winner of each Award will receive £500. The Collection asks that the artist who is granted the £500 Acquisition Award, exchange their selected original work for inclusion in our collection. The £500 Acquisition Award Payment will be made upon safe receipt of the winning artwork.
