Open Call for Artist Submissions. £1000 Prize Fund: £750 cash + £250 materials from GreatArt. The Annex Collection Acquisition Award is open to artists all over the world and we welcome submissions across all mediums. The Collection asks that the artist who is granted the Acquisition Award, exchange their selected work for inclusion in our collection.

The Annex Collection Acquisition Award is open to artists all over the world. We welcome submissions across all mediums, including (but not limited to):

  • Painting
  • Printmaking
  • Drawing
  • Sculpture
  • Installation
  • Performance (documentation / performance rights)
  • Participatory Happenings
  • Moving Image & Video
  • Fine Art Photography
  • New Media 
  • Conceptual 

The Collection asks that the artist who is granted the Acquisition Award, exchange their selected original work for inclusion in our collection. Please visit our website for further information and to see previously selected works.

Are there payments to artists?
The selected artist will receive £750 (paid via bank transfer) and £250 of art materials vouchers to be used at GreatArt (http://www.greatart.co.uk/).
What happens if my work is chosen?
If your work is selected, you will be required to arrange delivery to The Annex Collection. We are unable to pay for postage and/or transport costs for the delivery of winning works. This remains the artist's responsibility however where possible we will come and collect work. The Award Payment will be made upon safe receipt of the winning artwork.
