"To please a few" is the title for Cupola Contemporary Art's upcoming Christmas Show. Although we hate to talk about the 'C' word before the summer is out we want to make sure that for our 25th anniversary exhibition in the festive season we put on a stunning celebration of artist made work.

We are looking for artists and makers to submit work that responds to the title of the show and/or would make an amazing gift item.

When the gallery was established, in the first promotional leaflet I produced, I wrote, 'We show the work the artists want to make, not necessarily, the work they think they can sell'.  This theme continues that message.  Work made by artists that will not please everyone but which has the power to delight a chosen few.

Show us what you've got!  We want everything from paintings, ceramics, glass, sculpture & photography to bags, textiles, badges, jewellery and things I could never even imagine.

This maybe a Christmas show but the work does not have to be Christmas related, it simply has to be something that pleases you.

All work must be for sale. What you make could be the ideal thing to please someone special this Christmas.

The exhibition runs from 25th November to 7th January

DEADLINE for submissions is 26th October

All selected work must reach the gallery by the 18th November
