Alice E C Banfield Glamorgan, United Kingdom
Alice Banfield, b. 1996. I am a Welsh Autistic Artist based in Cardiff, Wales.
My practice explores my experiences as an autistic person, I use this narrative to deconstruct misconceptions of autism. In particular, how the language used by some organizations portray autism as a disease that can be treated. In using this negative language, some have attempted to 'cure' autism with pseudo-medicine such as MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement), which contains Chlorine Dioxide.
