I'm a painter, drawing from nature, and seeking the symbiotic relationships and wellbeing that the natural world can bring. My paintings varying in scale, with smaller, more intimate surreal-like painted works forming installations. A process- based and curiosity driven practice, painting with immediacy, and intuition, which is later refined with a more considered aesthetic.

My practice focuses on the materiality of my work and its process. I paint unseen, fragmented, nostalgic parts of places, objects and ourselves. The drive, passion, desire to create is everything to me. It can be immediate, or more considered. Sometimes the result is indeterminate , usually organic, ambiguous, psychological, and sensitive. Abstract, showing the hand of the artist, the intuitive action, and the collaboration with the elelment of chance
