In my practice, I use the idea of “the ruin” as a metaphor for the instability of a fixed past, the shift in society perception towards each other and that of past events, and stories untold. Our changing times and ongoing pursuit for enlightenment seems perfectly summed up in the increasing use of the word ‘Woke” — a term that refers to awareness of issues that concern social and racial injustice.

With ‘Peace, Love, and Hope’ in our hearts, our modern society can strive to create a more inclusive world for generations to come.
