A visual artist and educator. Recently completed an MA in Fine Art & an experienced Further Education tutor. Specialist in the communication of concepts through traditional and new media image making processes. Active artist, where my most recent exhibition was awarded ‘Best in show.’
Artist working within digital image-making, film, montage and installation. I am drawn to concepts such as ‘The dream scene’ (BISHOP, 2005) as a mode of installation art to investigate my own identity and unconscious. My work draws on my own inheritance and experience of the working class, gender, hyper-femininity and the cultural tropes that signify these.
