I create jewellery in sterling silver, argentium silver and gold. My inspiration comes from organic shapes and from fractal patterns. I also create limited edition intaglio prints based on fractals.

I'm based at The Art House in Wakefield. I'm mainly self-taught and have been creating jewellery for the last eight years. I have several collections, each with its own inspiration. The Fractal Collection (as its name suggests!) uses unique fractal designs that I create using specialist software and then either etch or pierce into silver. The Willowleaf Collection uses fold-forming techniques to create organic leaf shapes that are the basic units for various pieces. The Unfold Collection uses the shell-forming technique to create pieces that explore the relationship between the hidden and the revealed. The Touchstone Collection enables people who are on a journey of self-discovery and growth to wear words and phrases that capture their intentions.

This autumn, I will be launching a new collection using Argentium silver and gold.

My limited edition prints are also based on the type of fractal that I use in my jewellery designs. The patterns are first created on the computer and then transferred to solar plates which are printed using a traditional intaglio method. Hand-inking the plates enables me to achieve subtle or striking blends of colour.
