Omole Musah-Eroje. 3D designer and textile artist. Over 10 years of experience developing my creative practices. Shortlisted to lead an embroidery class with University of Leeds Students in 2021. Proud owner of Etsy business, Far East Favourites, where I make Chinese and Japanese inspired artisan products. Also interested in Computer Science and Business Development.

3D Design: My main mediums are paper and card. I have always been interested in modular origami constructions, made from several pieces of paper put together. I first paint the paper/card with acrylic, then fold it. From this I have designed my own version of Chinese Palace Lantern, which also lights up.

Textile Art: Embroidery. I have a keen interest in stumpwork, which is embroidery that is raised off the fabric to create 3D forms. I have incorporated this into my entry for the Hand and Lock Embroidery Prize 2021.

I have recently discovered embroidery on tulle material, and I love how the stitches look like they're floating on the lacey gauze.
