Sorin I Maxim is an artist specialist on sculpture and drawing. He has a Masters in Visual Arts from the National University of Arts in Bucharest . Since 2018 he moved to the West Midlands currently based in Coventry.

Sorin uses multiple different mediums to represent and expose his ideas, envisioning himself as a 'translator'. He works with drawing, painting, photography, modelling, carving, building, etc. I like to see the different mediums and techniques as languages without nationality, as they can be understood by anyone. I objectify clouds in a sculptural form and at the same time, fix an image that is constantly moving. What I want to achieve is actually a series of three-dimensional images of forms that have the attributes of transformation and perpetual uncertainty. On an artistic, technological, or day-to-day approach, my projection is based on the universal language of images describing the relationship we have with our environment, despite language barriers, cultural differences, and geographical distance.
