Sareth Gavage Art West Yorkshire, United Kingdom
Sareth Gavage is a West Yorkshire based Abstract Psychedelic Artist, creating highly intricate, often symmetrical work that melds together patterns, motifs and shapes. His work is explorative and ever changing, adding new mediums, subjects matters and ideas constantly.
Gareth Savage, also known as Sareth Gavage, makes work on paper, canvas, wood and digital software creating colourful, intricate and vibrant art. Sareth’s works often start from a single pattern or doodle and develop and spread in many different directions. Patterns are at the heart of everything Sareth creates, taking influence from the patterns and rhythms in nature, the modern world around him and from his own imagination. Often described as Psychedelic, Sareth’s work also journeys through Science Fiction, Steampunk and Surrealism all glued together by an abstract theme. Drawings and paintings make use of a range of materials from fineliners and posca pens, to acrylic paints and gouaches.
Sareth seeks to work and develop his practise alongside other artists and non-artists, collaborating on new projects. He enjoys working on projects outside his comfort zone, as well as playing to his strengths. The environment is a key factor in the production of his work and research on materials, practises and mindsets something the Artist is always looking to expand upon. Sareth's goal is to produce work that has as low environmental impact as possible, this is a journey that requires lots of patience and creative thinking as it is not straightforward. The artist is always seeking to further his knowledge on this subject and is open to conversations and research that may help him achieve his goal.
