Artist, York. Responding to sites of architectural interest, I explore the sensory experience of architecture through drawing.

I am interested in seeking out hidden, forgotten or reimagined aspects to convey a sense of the felt experience of the space, alive with human traces, narratives and histories. Inspired by experience, memory and imagination, I enrich my enquiry with wider contextual research.

Recent work has been focused on architectural materials, questioning what the sensory experiences of drawing and architecture may reveal about a place. Working employs a repetitive drawing approach through the duality of touch in both reception and expression, examining how paper surfaces and marks interact, often working with light or in response to video.

Recent works comprise drawings and installations that incorporate drawings and prints activated by light.
