I am an artist living in York who works with drawing, light and video. I studied Fine Art at York St John University and make work in response to sites of architectural interest, examining how to communicate a sense of the felt experience of the space, working with site, history and context.

I am interested in seeking out the hidden, forgotten or reimagined aspects of architectural sites to communicate a sense of the felt experience of the space, alive with human traces, narratives and histories. Inspired by experience, memory and imagination, I enrich my enquiry with wider contextual research.

Currently focusing on the natural rhythms of light and significance of shadow, I am interested in what they may reveal about a space. Working with abstract forms, I engage in a repetitive, rhythmic action of drawing and examine how paper surfaces and marks interact with light, often working with video.

Recent works comprise drawings and installations that incorporate drawings, prints, light and video.
