I am a Swedish London based artist. My work focuses on questions around that which is historically repressed, about to disappear, or maybe already extinct, such as certain languages or technologies. I explore the complexities of our surroundings through a number of different materials and methods, as for example sculpture, textile, ceramic 16mm film, HD technology, photography and sound.

My work focuses on questions around ‘humanness’ related to that which is historically repressed, about to disappear or perhaps already extinct, such as certain languages or technologies. I explore the complexities of our surroundings through various methods and materials. Manifested through the expansion of sculpture, I work with ceramics, glass, textile, film and installations. I engage collaboratively with a range of disciplines to expand methodologies; e.g. in recent years with archaeologists in Ireland and Sweden as part of Experimental Heritage looking at female knowledge, folklore, ritual and early witch-hunts and death. This has urged to do things ‘by hand’ and to observe through listening as a way to question the patriarchal narratives of western history in which our concepts of the past/future are socially/culturally entwined.
