I am a UK-based artist working in the South West. I make both large and small works, predominantly oil paintings on linen, but I also create small three dimensional pieces that consider the impact of scale and perception. Some of these become part of older objects, others are created new.

In a moment, a brief, indefinite interval of time, everything can change. There will always be a last kiss, so linger a fraction longer when tender moments arise.

I know what it feels like to be given a second-chance at life. I am deeply sentimental and intrigued by the universal phenomena of preciousness and how it becomes entwined in even the most unlikely things. I enjoy sensing the history of an object and the knowledge that has been held before. So, if appropriate, I sometimes incorporate this into my practice. In all my works, both paintings and three-dimensional pieces, I aim to capture connections and disconnections between people and place.
