Laura is an applied artist, curator and creative project manager as well as Artist Associate for Mansion of the Future, Lincoln.

Laura is currently Associate Artist for Mansions of the Future a new Arts Council funded public arts venue in Lincoln. Laura graduated with a first class BA (hons) in Contemporary Decorative Crafts in 2007 from the University of Lincoln and recently returned there to study for her Masters.

Since 2007 she has exhibited throughout the UK. She has also curated numerous craft and design exhibitions and managed arts projects. She spent 8 years with the exhibitions team at the National Centre for Craft & Design and has since developed her own freelance practice.

Specialising in caft techniques and mixed media, Laura stives to utilise the unique properties of materials to inspire new ideas.

Laura has also taught the craft of feltmaking for 10 years and has exhibited her work in a variety of venues including the Mall Galleries, London and The National Centre for Craft & Design and is a Flair Member of Design Nation, the UK's leading creative agency for the development, support and promotion of excellent craft and design practice.
