An artist primarily working with drawing, printmaking and artists books. With a background in fine art textiles (Embroidery BA 2001) I have worked as an artist and teacher in Further Education and Arts for Health since 2000.

The work is concerned with the body and its environment, the contrasting ephemeral and insistent qualities of these entities and the tensions between them. I try to express the feeling within a particular space or moment and I want to pull the viewer into that. Often this is done intuitively with gestural mark making or figurative drawing. The drawing is then developed through print or making processes and often culminates in book forms.
