I am a Ba Hons Fine Art student at the University of Central Lancashire. I am passionate about art and creativity, with an emphasis on drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpting. I am driven in this field, my research based work takes me to many unexpected places and with varying, yet always satisfyingly creative results. I thrive on the unpredictability of being an Artist.

I use digital media to produce manipulated images, using mainly photographs taken from life images around Yorkshire and in some way areas related to this region. I use many images from lots of photographs and other media, working into these compositions with a graphic pad. I like these works of art to have a sense of realism so they can be easily be recognised by the viewer

I’m a multi-disciplinary artist with a current focus on painting, who studied at Central Saint Martins. I'm inspired when art provokes people to reconsider the familiar. Throughout last year I started experimenting with 2D mixed media paintings, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a tool to enable my art. I want my work to be both expressive and representational. I am a TB survivor.

I first bought my good camera a few years ago. It couldn’t use it so just used my phone. Then in 2018 I joined a course on how to get the best from your camera. Sine then I have had a few pics in the papers and in exhibitions. The thrill of seeing your pictures in an exhibition is brilliant. I have also had a few small exhibitions.

I'm a sculptor, writer and art historian (leeds university (jt hons) art history / english literature). I seek to make art at its most potent through re-interpreting and juxtaposing my raw materials - driftwood and unloved / unwanted furniture, occasionally with a surreal yet tangible functional edge. The metaphor between my work and humanity and how we are shaped by our environment is stark.
