Carys Reilly is a contemporary artist living in Glasgow. Her practice combines sculpture, photography and body art. Her work is influenced by the 'Pictures Generation' artists, and the radical narcissism of 1970s feminist performance art. The narratives of her practice are shaped by her own experience of chronic illness, and fascination with historical texts on hysteria.

I am a mixed media artist who loves to create a story within my work using ideas from my dreams, memories or ideas from my imagination. In my creative process I feel my way, having fun playing in order to create something authentic and true. I give space to my instinct, move out of my head and into my body, working on physicality and the materials

I am a printmaker based in Edinburgh Scotland. I travel around the country in my campervan painting plein aire watercolour sketches of the landscape. Back in Edinburgh I convert these sketches into collagraphs and print them either at Edinburgh Printmakers or at home. I am trying to cover the whole of Scotland. I also engage in protest art around refugee, BAME issues and others.

I am interested in exploring photography as ‘Inframedium’, playing with the boundaries of the photographic object, its material ‘nature’ and the visual possibilities that exist within it. Stripping away the ‘Apparatus’ of the camera and thus stepping out of the arena of the technical image, I am exploring a different set of gestures with which to reveal the material’s phenomenological potential.

Stevens works with experimental film and video art to discuss the absurd and the vulnerability of the body. Using low-tech filming techniques to imitate late 20th-century horror, the artist plays with black comedy to accentuate the body's corporeal reality and society's denial of this truth. They are based in Surrey, England and studied BA Fine Art at the University for the Creative Arts 2019-21.

Tom Smith is an artist who works with day-glow paint, digital media, and audio. His work is often designed to be viewed using a mixture of augmented reality, ultraviolet lighting and/or 3D glasses. Much of Tom’s work is about perception, paradox and self-delusion, how the parameters of truth, or reality are all agreed constructs, a lie we are all complicit in.

Daura Campos is a Latina, self-taught, lens-based artist and curator based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Her photographic practice challenges traditional image-making processes, revealing itself as more than a meta-commentary with a subtext that prompts broader conversations on the implications of existing in a dissident body.
