    I am currently based in Sheffield where I engage in professional endeavors while devoting my leisure time to the pursuit of artistic expression. Notably, I have commenced participating in competitions, and most recently curated a month-long exhibition at The Dorothy Pax in Sheffield. I have also just finished my first commission piece!

    I grew up in Zambia, studied Classics and Education at St. Mary’s University in London, and later graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a B.A. Honours in Fine Art. As teacher and artist, my interests have often overlapped. I have exhibited in many English and European cities, as can be seen in my CV on this website.     I am a visual artist living and working from my studio on the Isle of Wight. I paint directly onto glass surfaces with my hands. I smear and throw thick etching ink onto surfaces whilst listening to music as an emotional trigger to create abstract marks and shapes. These are then layered to create multilayers pieces that sit between painting and sculpture.

    Though rooted in printmaking, my MA in Fine Art (UAL) encouraged me to expand my practice to include installation and assemblage. I use a range of media including traditional (e.g. print, ceramics) and newer technologies (e.g. laser cut) which I combine to stretch possibilities.
