I'm an artist who studied Sculpture and Environmental Art at The Glasgow School of Art. My work is humorous and idiosyncratically autobiographical. Environmental Art is not what my Gran thinks it is. I don't create art about trees, leaves and compost heaps. The course encouraged us to do everything and anything. I have 'branched' out doing sculptures such as a 6ft volcano and life-sized paper mâch

My paintings and collographic prints are about the landscape. They consider the narrative between humanity and the environment by recording the impact of industry in my area. This includes historic quarries. I use textured mark to build up rich layers of materials, including using gesso, collage and inks which I develop into larger works

I am a graduate of Reading University and the RCA. Currently I have a studio at APT in Deptford, London. I have exhibited continuously since 1977 both in terms of static installations but more recently involving projection onto objects. These include reconstructions of the night sky and orreries using 00 scale model railways. An online catalogue of small works and movie shorts support this.

I am an interdisciplinary artist working across a range of media . My work explores feelings of grief and loss through the context of “what remains”. How we connect to and remember the dead through the material "stuff" which is left behind is central to my work. I use a visual language of dereliction , fragility and decay in my artmaking in order to mirror the emotional state of grief.

We are Gary and Christina, Kinect by CGGT is a small family run business specialising in chain maille inspired jewellery. Everything we make is handcrafted in Sheffield using a variety of materials; primarily silver, aluminium and rubber and some of our pieces also feature precious and semi-precious stones. We gain a lot of our inspiration from the beautiful peak district and our 3 crazy children.

My practice is interdisciplinary, process driven and material focused and work is realised through a synthesis of processes.

My collections combine two materials that began at the same source. Paper, a short-term material is recycled to create a new texture and is married with different wood. As both materials are worked using traditional wood working techniques, they are transformed into bespoke and tactile objects. My actions reveal the unseen internal imprint as the surface is scraped away.

I’m a multi-disciplinary artist with a current focus on painting, who studied at Central Saint Martins. I'm inspired when art provokes people to reconsider the familiar. Throughout last year I started experimenting with 2D mixed media paintings, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a tool to enable my art. I want my work to be both expressive and representational. I am a TB survivor.

I started a BA in Fine Art in my late 40's, which enabled a whole new outlook to my world. I have discovered that it is important for me to create artwork that feels authentic to who I am, and often use my affinity with nature and my spirituality to inform my artistic direction.
