    I come from a family of painters and studied Fine Art at 'A' Level. I have been painting landscapes regularly since 2013 and, having retired from a career in nursing in 2015, am now a full time artist, painting and drawing and have studied portraiture under Andres Jaroslavsky and Luke Thompson. I also hold classes in portraiture (both drawing and painting) and landscape painting around Leeds.

    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre. I do, however, love to create images that offer an unusual perspective on the every-day, which enables me to embrace macro photography, as well as documentary and street photography.

    I started my artistic work in scenography and costumes, in Lisbon and assisting productions on tour.     I am a British artist and designer working in London. I studied Art and Aesthetics at Cardiff (UWIC), and MA Book Arts at Camberwell College (UAL), graduating 2001. I combine traditional skills of observational drawing with digital design to create educational charts and maps, usually in the form of prints (digital or screen), and often with a subversive or humorous undertone.
