I’m a multidisciplinary artist, my work ranging from installations, animations to immersive storytelling, exploring themes of race, ethnicity and feminist identity. My projects often have the aim of shining spotlights on marginalised communities. Through art, whether it’s engagement workshops, co-creations or thought-provoking pieces, I hope to create real-world social changes.

As a visual artist I use a multidisciplinary approach using different mediums such as photography, painting, drawing and printmaking, I combine the surrounding environment with my conceptual and perceptual state of mind in my work. To be true to myself as a contemporary artist is to encapsulate not only the depiction of form but the mood and emotion that will lead to a response from the viewer.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in Lancashire, U.K, conducting practice based research as part of my Fine Art MA. I work with cyanotype as well as other print-making methods. My work features archetypal symbolism and is heavily based around the teachings of C.G Jung. I also work in the fashion industry and I am currently exploring opportunities which form bridges between the two worlds.

I create uniquely shaped canvas stretchers that are constructed from household objects resembling hybrid female forms. I use the canvas stretcher as a symbol for the system and the body and I intend these irregular forms to represent non-conforming, autonomous bodies. These assemblages reimagine a future encompassing the feminine and and reclaiming the magic of the witches in a riotous manner

I am an emerging visual artist exploring human experience and connection. Based on the edge of the New Forest, I use this inspirational environment in much of my work. Using narrative, language and visual impact to explore themes such as motherhood, our connection to nature, the body and spirituality, I often draw upon lived experience and work mainly within sculpture, photography and collage.
