    Erika is a graduate from the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford. In 2021 she was awarded the Emerging Artist Studio Bursary at Positive Light Projects, allowing her to continue her place-based practice in Devon.     Derby based printmaker and illustrator Nicki Dennett creates multi-layered, mixed media prints inspired by life around her. Nicki’s continual observation of her environment and an appreciation of all aspects of existence inspire her work.     I’m a Yorkshire based textile artist specialising in embroidery. I work in my home studio by the sea in Scarborough. Using fabric and thread, I create textile drawings and objects that tell stories. These stories often have an autobiographical theme, exploring mental health and personal memories.

I illustrate psychological phenomena, theories and concept in light of the current social context and of our future.
