I am a recent graduate from the University of Sunderland, graduating with a First Class Honours Degree. My work varies between painting, sculpture, textiles and installation.

My mixed media practice is inspired by aspects of childhood and adulthood, focusing on subjects of love, loss and play.

Artwork

Infatuation

Medium: Painting and sculpture instalation

This is my Degree Show installation. The installation was a representation of fantasy and disappointment and was a collection of small and large triangular paintings that represent, childhood and feminism with references to the human body. The show also consisted of several sculptural pieces, including stairs to nowhere with a series of uncomfortable items on and a giant doughnut with hair.

Suck

Medium: Plastic, Clay, Plaster, Acrylic paint. Varmish

This is a plastic baby dummy coated in clay, plaster acrylic paint and varnished. This is an uncomfortable looking mix between a baby dummy and breast feeding. This was made in 2016 when my practice was based around corrupting baby toys.
