My work focuses on painting and drawing techniques, with an interest in memory, place, heritage, portraiture and narrative.
I've recently finished the MA in Illustration and Book Arts at Cambridge School of Art.
I've produced book covers for the American online writing school Written Out Loud.
I've illustrated hand-drawn cityscapes, for the branding agency United by Design.
In 2018, I interned for the Mallorca gallery ABA Art Lab. Apart from a portrait project, I worked with a team in writing and illustrating a series of experimental magazines.
I continue to write, and currently contribute articles and illustrations to the online magazine Arktic Lime.
In 2011, I interned for the magazine One and Other York. Here, I produced sketchbook theatre reviews. This experience developed my interest in exploring the potential of both writing and illustration.
Narrative underpins everything. A large portion of my work is representations of faces and figures. I find that portraiture is a way to tell a story in a single image.
