I am a Textile Artist and Workers Education Association (WEA)Tutor

I am a weaver with a 4 shaft table top loom as well as dyeing fabric and yarn which are used to create pieces of textile art. I particularly enjoy using up fabric scraps and found materials in my work, rather than buying new materials all the time. Since 2013 I have also been a tutor for the WEA and I teach a wide range of subjects, including papermaking, weaving without a loom, creative textile techniques, silk painting, batik, handstitching, natural dyeing, printing without a press, simple jewellery making plus many other things to adults, whether they are beginners of have some knowledge of the subject I am teaching.

When the pandemic began WEA moved all their courses online so I am now able to teach both online and face to face and am comfortable doing both.
