I am a Leeds based multidisciplinary Artist creating paintings inspired by people and the environment.

I spent several years doing self-taught painting and drawing whilst living and working in London. Eventually I went to Bridgend College in Wales to study BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art & Design and developed a love of Life Drawing, Painting and Design. I went on to study a degree in Costume Design at University of Leeds where I focused on characters and their clothing. Now I paint in response to the environment, people and aspirations. I am interested in the effects of the environment on people's emotions and interpret this through the use of colour.
