Artist/designer creating artworks using natural colour in the form of dried botanicals.

I have the opportunity, in my job as a designer, to work with colour - and this makes me happy. It seems I've become a collector of colour. This used to involve hoarding collections of glass bottles, scraps of old fabric and even cereal packets. Recently though, I’ve become a collector of natural colour in the form of dried petals that I store & display for inspiration.

With the support of a local florist (who generously rescues wilted stock that would usually go to compost - and saves for me to pick up on a Friday morning); friends who keep their jam-jars for me to use as storage; our back-yard and the pavements of N16 that, throughout the warmer months, hold a constant source of fallen petals - I am able to collect, store and create with natural colour.
