I am a multi-disciplinary artist whose work fills the space between URL and IRL, often by taking the form of installation. My interests lie in the beautiful mundanities of human life and potential that art spaces have to become alternate realities as a rest place for human bodies. Through an amateur aesthetic, I aim for my work to be more approachable than the harsh perfection of the white cube.

Currently, I am exploring the act of showering as both a private and a shared experience. Private because we do it alone, or with those we trust, and shared in that we all know the feeling of being embraced by a warm shower. A significant part of the daily routine that is often overlooked; showering is a pause button on life, a place of serenity to prepare for the day or celebrate the completion of one. It is these shared intimate experiences that intrigue me, and this is reflected by my use of social media as an artistic medium - something that we do alone but also together.

To try an understand life as a human in the 21st century, I spent six months cloning myself which culminated in the birth of SkinnyChip2 which was live streamed on instagram on the 8th of February 2019. Existing in the digital realm is a tricky one as we are all constantly performing and curating ourselves. SkinnyChip2 examines the less tangible things that contribute to personal identity through a life long performance on Instagram, Youtube and beyond.
