Anti Matter: Open Call for installations

We looking for bold and striking installations for an event happening in November 2019 in London. The theme of the event is Anti-Matter and we are looking for installations that engage with technology, light science, space and science fiction, futurism and other related themes. If you are unsure if your project is suitable then don’t hesitate to email us first and we can provide feedback before you apply. Light installations, Multi Media sculptural installations and anything dealing with issues around technology is especially of interest.

We are looking for new or existing installations that use light or are visible in a dark environment to create an immersive environment for visitors. We have several different spaces, one large outdoor space  and several smaller spaces around the event grounds that are available.

We have two different commissions:

£20,000 for a larger scale installation to be used in a space that is approximately 10 x 15m.

£2500 for smaller installations that can be used in areas approx 5 x 5m.

All locations are enclosed outdoor spaces, they are all dark but mostly open to the elements from above so you will need to include safety information in your proposal and ensure that all electrical devices are rated IP44 or better.

• 500 word max explanation of your project and concept

• 500-1000 word technical and safety explanation of how the project will be set up. We will provide power to the installation and also barriers that can be used around work to protect it from the audience so you do not need to include that information

• At least 2 images showing the technical setup and visual mockup of the installation

• Budget (all prices must include VAT)
