ARTbound are excited to curate a new exhibition at Legacy Arts Gallery to celebrate the beginning of the Autumn season and invite a range of exhibitors to submit their Autumnal themed creations!

ARTbound is a membership based online arts organisation, who regularly hire venues and spaces to boost the exposure and sales of our creative community .

We invite exhibitors, old and new, to join us for an Autumnal themed exhibition, at this wonderfully unique and community-inspired gallery, in the heart of Todmorden Village.

ARTbound & Legacy will be holding an event on the day of the autumnal equinox (Sunday 23rd September) to celebrate a superb summer and welcome a warming Autumn with drinks, nibbles and arty talks!

Acceptance fee per exhibitor: £15

Please note - the acceptance fee may increase if your chosen artwork is over 50cm or 20inch in length - we try allocate an equal amount of wall space per exhibitor. (Please enquire about large submissions prior to submitting, we will accommodate where possible)

Sales: Work will be for sale (unless stated otherwise) and this venue takes 25% commission from sales

Exhibition dates: Weds 5th Sept - Weds 3rd Oct 2018

Deadline: Midnight, Thursday 9th August 2018

We provide established artists with events to present their work to wider audiences, whilst also giving up-and-coming artists the opportunity to enter the art world.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?

All artists or photographers working within 2D media. 3D and sculptural works may be considered, please enquire before submitting.

When is the deadline?

Midnight, Thursday 9th August 2018

How many works can I submit?

As many of your creations that fit within our wall allocation of approx 50cm or 20in - for fairness, we allocate exhibitors an equal amount of wall space.

(Please enquire if your work is larger before submitting)

When is the delivery date?

Between 12.30 - 4pm on Tuesday 4th September 2018 (usually a closed day, open for deliveries only)

When do I need to collect my work?

Between 12.30 - 4pm on Weds 3rd October 2018

How much does it cost?

£15 per exhibitor

Is there a private view / opening?

An event day will be held on Sunday 23rd September, 2-4pm, to celebrate the autumnal equinox.

Closed: Monday & Tuesday
Open: 12pm – 4pm - Wednesday
10.30am - 4pm - Thursday – Sunday

What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?

Social media promotion from ARTbound and Legacy Arts on a regular basis, flyer production.

Do I need to be present?

No, only to drop off and pick up or to attend the event day.

How do you decide on proposals?

We decide on proposed submissions in accordance: to the size of the venue; the saleability of the submissions in accordance of the venue location and how each piece of artwork responds to the next. This process is conducted throughout the call out and finalised shortly after the deadline.

What happens if my proposal is chosen?

We will contact you shortly after the deadline to let you know whether or not you have been chosen.

What kind of proposals are you looking for?

Loosely themed around an autumnal concept.

What is the sales commission?

Legacy Arts Gallery takes 25% sales commission from any sales.
This goes to towards the general running and development of the gallery

Insurance and postage

Exhibitors are responsible to ensure their own artworks are insured for the appropriate event and insured during transit.

Exhibitors are responsible for their own postage and courier options during delivery and collection.

Upon request and where possible, we can assist with any return postage.
