We are excited to once again offer the opportunity to exhibit in our Main Gallery space for 2018. After a successful Solo Series in 2017, we are returning to an open model next year and welcome proposals for solo, group and open shows.

About the Space

The Artizan Main Gallery has been our primary exhibition space since opening in 2013. A large open space with high ceilings, white walls and “Artizan Blue” floorboards and highlights offer an attractive venue for exhibiting. With the supporting Garden Gallery and Basement Gallery attached, it forms an integral part of the overall Gallery and its offer to collectors and visitors. With 20m of hanging space, plus additional window and easel display areas, there’s plenty of space for a variety of exhibition styles and opportunities.

Weekly hire starts at £175 for eligible artists. There is no submission fee to apply.

Exhibition Type

Solo Show

A solo show is an exhibition of one artist only. This type of exhibition is suitable for displaying a full series of work or as a retrospective of an artist’s work.

Group Show

A group show is any exhibition featuring multiple artists. We accept a maximum of four wall artists in a group show with a maximum of three supporting 3D artists. We are unfortunately unable to manage group shows and it is up to a group of artists to approach us with an exhibition proposal.

Open Show

An open show is any exhibition featuring more than ten artists and allowing submissions of a maximum of two pieces per artist. Artizan Gallery hosts two of its own open exhibitions every year but we welcome other artists and groups to organise and host their own open shows with us.

Conditions of Entry

  • All entries require a one-week deposit to confirm booking.
  • All bookings must be a minimum of 3 weeks.
  • We are no longer offering self-steward options.
  •  If your exhibition is largely 3D work, or requires complex installation, we request you visit the space to ensure its suitability before making a submission.
  •  Artists must agree to our standard terms and conditions for exhibition at Artizan Gallery (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4cbCnYo-44DWUxmd3ZMYnhGbjQ).
  •  Artists must complete the entry form in full.
