CuratorSpace is working with Leeds Big Screen to showcase artists who work in film and video as part of Black History Month.

Leeds Big Screen is situated in Millennium Square and broadcasts a range of digital media including video, photos, text, images and animation. Our aim for Leeds Big Screen is to create an engaging, visually stimulating and interactive public screen for both our residents and visitors to the city by showcasing everything worth celebrating across Leeds and Yorkshire.

As part of Black History Month we want to celebrate the creative work produced by BAME artists and those making work in relation to Black history. Artists anywhere in the world are eligible to apply.

The exhibition will be promoted through the CuratorSpace and Leeds Big Screen websites and social media channels. A “Find out more” graphic can be included on your film to drive new audiences to your own social media channel and websites.

Films will be shown throughout the schedule during October and there will be a celebration event in Millennium Square on the evening of Saturday 6th October.
