Kaur and Baleem Creatives are looking for poets/spoken word writers to perform at a live and limited event called Friday Night Open Mic. We require a selected amount of resident poets, pre signed up poets and there will be last minute sign ups on the nights.

Kaur and Baleem Creatives are looking for poets/spoken word writers to perform at a live and limited event called Friday Night Open Mic. We require a selected amount of resident poets, pre signed up poets and there will be last minute sign ups on the nights.

The location is a large space in Leeds City Centre and is a 5 minute walk from Leeds train station. There is parking around the city centre however none on site due to the location.

The location and other details will be revealed once applicants have been chosen.

The dates are:

• 02.08.19 - 7pm - 10pm
• 16.08.19 - 7pm - 10pm
• 30.08.19 - 7pm - 10pm

Resident poets must be available for all dates. Pre signed up can be any date.

If you are interested we require the following:

• Examples of your work (either written, or links to videos)
• Your social media tags
• If you’d like to be resident or pre signed up and the dates you’d be available.

This will be a ticketed event and any ticket profits will be split between everyone involved.

The deadline for applicants is 21st July 2019.
