The show will once again go live on line on the Organ website and on the Cultivate website on APRIL 24th and will run until the world ends (or we do). The work needs to be of a BLACK nature, the colour will once again unite the show…. The recent Red experiment was visited by over 2000 viewers in the first two hours and over 6000 in the frist week. STOP PRESS: Looks like we shall have around 40/50 artists taking part, selected from around 500.
There is no charge to submit a piece, some galleries will tell you it cost them lots of money to open an e.mail so they have to charge, well no, that’s a load of rather cynical rubbish on the part of the galleries who do this. There will be no charge in anyway in terms of taking part, all we ask you to do is to post links and do a little bit of sharing once the show has gone live We’ll select at least the 20 most exciting artists or pieces of work and post it all along with those all important links to the artist’s website. if more than 20 excite us then more that 20 will feature...
You can submit up to three images of your work, all disciplines are acceptable (no photography though, sorry, trying to avoid lots of people pointing camera at black cats or pints of Guiness, all valid in the right place, there are plenty of photography galleries out there) but please make it VERY CLEAR what we are looking at please (are you submitting an image of a painting? A print, a piece of digital art a piece of sculpture). We need to know medium, size, and we need a link to your website (your website or a Facebook page, not one of those damn Saatchi type on-line shops please). We’ll respond within five days to all submissions. Let’s keep it simple and easy, nothing more annoying than e.mail tennis and having to ask the obvious)

DEADLINE: MIDNIGHT UK TIME THURSDAY 20th April
These things are only as good as you artists make them, the Red experiment worked, Something Black will be as good as you make it. same as everything we do via Cultivate really. We suggest you take a look at the Red Show on the Cultivate website or the Organ website to get a flavour...
FOOTNOTE: Please note, the show is called "Something Black", it isn't called "black and white" we're not looking for black and white prints or pencil drawings on white paper and much as we're looknig for something black. Also this is an online show, please make sure your photos are clear and useable. We sugest you take a look at the previous Redon-line show in the Cultivate website or the Organ website and get a flavour. We are trying to repsond in a constructive way to all submissions, I know rejection of your art is never a nice feeling, but it is mostly in terms of this show we are saying no, and not a rejection of everything you do, please take it in the right way whe nwe repsond and offer a reason rather than just ignore you ThanksContact the curator
