The AntiMA would like to offer three online residencies for emerging curators to work with an exciting and forward-thinking group of artists based in the UK. The residency will take place online and the three successful applicants will be working for two to three weeks to create an innovative and exciting online exhibition/event/ programme with the help and support of The AntiMA artists.

During this time the Curator in Residence will meet with the group (over zoom) and get to know us and our work individually to be able to better curate something exciting and new. In return we will offer access to our outworks, knowledge and skills, as well as workshops, critiques and our up and coming Instagram platform.

Once all three residencies have been completed, we will then ask one Curator to join us to work with the group once again, this time at one of our physical space exhibitions, dates dependant on the current pandemic. This is the first Open Call from The AntiMA and we are excited to hear from individuals who are interested in working with a large group of artists that are working towards open, artist lead education, collaboration and community.

We are looking for proposals for an innovative and exciting online exhibition, event or programme that focuses on the works of The AntiMA members. The proposal does not have to be complete, but we would like to hear how you imagine the outcome to be and how the residency will benefit you and your curatorial practice. 

Applications can be from anywhere in the world but please bear in mind The AntiMA will not be able to fund your trip to the UK for the physical exhibition if you are the successful Curator in Residence.
