Small Steps Events are looking for artists with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and / or mental health conditions for a week long exhibition.

Small Steps Events CIC is a community events company based in Liverpool, UK. We create and host regular community events all over the city, examples of subjects we have focused on before are- LGBTQ+, mental health, food banks, sustainability and the environment. We aim to bring awareness to a variety of different subjects through art, music and performance.

From Saturday 18th April 2020 Small Steps Events will be hosting an all inclusive exhibition specifically for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and / or mental health conditions. We believe the art world can be hard to access to those who live with a disability, we want to create a diverse open exhibition to give individuals the opportunity to showcase their work. If you would like the opportunity to show your artwork in a week long exhibition (with an opening event), apply now!

We are looking for a variety of different media but if you have any enquiries about the suitability of your work please get in touch. The opening night will also showcase disabled musicians and performers, which will be open to the public. We would prefer for you to be there to help set up your own work and attend the opening night but also understand if this isn’t possible.
