Do It Yourway is an online platform showcasing works responding to a set of keywords.

This open call invites viewers to create work in response to a set of keywords.  Works can be in any format: sculpture, photographs, text, video, collage, etc.

The current keywords are:

Pull

Push

Grab

Throw

Wet

Dry

Connect

Light

Shadow

Force

The outcomes can be as broad and creative as you desire, using any medium you like. You, or others, can choose to be in these pieces or you could simply have an image/object in frame.

Participants can choose as many of these words to use as they would like. Multiple outcomes are welcome.

Apply here with images of your work - Please include your name, social media and website (if applicable) on all submissions to allow us to credit you. 

Selected works will be shown on the doityourway_art Instagram page and the Do It Yourway Facebook page.

This open call comes with the opportunity to take part in an  Instagram story takeover. Selected artists will get to share a bit more about their art practice and inspirations over the course of a day on @doityourway_art. More information on this can be found in the application form and FAQs.
