Art Number 23 is a London-based organisation, mainly responsible for curating art exhibitions inside the U.K. and overseas. The aim is to create opportunities in order to encourage and support artists from all over the world to exhibit and promote their work.

We are delighted to invite you to participate in our upcoming exhibition in Amsterdam! The exhibition will take place in a quirky, creative environment, one minute away from Adm. de Ruijterweg station.

We are looking for artworks that relate to vivid memories and past experiences; artworks that depict the artists' remembrance of people, locations, objects and feelings. 

*Please note that for this exhibition, we are mainly looking for small artworks that are easy to transfer safely, like small paintings on canvas (on their stretchers), prints on foam board etc.

The exhibition will be open for 5 days from the 11th untill the 15th May, with an opening event on the 11th May. We have arranged the event to be on a Friday for those who would like to combine business with a small weekend escape.  

Artists of all mediums and from all countries are welcome to apply, including painters, sculptors, photographers, designers, illustrators, performers and video artists. 

Everyone can apply for free to participate in our shows and we do not take any commission from the sales! This is why an affordable fee will be applied only to selected artists, which will go towards the expenses of each show:

• Venue hire 

• Drinks for the opening event​

• Posters and catalogues design

​• Printing costs (posters/catalogues/labels)​

• Invigilators 

​• Postage expenses (transportation of the artworks from London to Amsterdam and back)

The fee will be defined according to the wall space that each artist will occupy:

1 meter - £80

2 meters - £120

​Sculptures - £80 per plinth
