A harvest can be subtle or profound. Physical or psychological. Something that is about you only, or something involving a group, a tribe, a nation, a concept....

As I approach my 20th year as an artist and curator, I am putting an online exhibition together. It will consist of images and poetry. My own writing will be created in response to your artworks. Some pre-exisiting poetry will also be included. Find 'Studio 12 Petals' on Instagram to see some of my work. I am happy to send you a sample of my poetry by reuest too.

Creativity is so important, but in this world of go, go, go how often do we use our creativity to pause and reflect? I am a yoga teacher, artist, song-writer and poet and believe that while internal validation is crucial to our wellbeing,  most humans need a pat on the back from someone else too (not in a creepy way!). So I am creating a bumper harvest of art in cyberspace; what does harvest mean to you?

Celebrate your achievements, the little things in life, the big result or the subtle nuances that are deeply personal to you and not so obvious to anyone else. Send actual representations or abstract responses; anything that you wish to inlcude. Maybe some of you write too?

Please, for the love of sanity, do not send me any CVs or bios. Let the work speak for itself. If you want to add a very short description of how the work evolved, that is ok. Very. Short.

As usual, I expect to put a lot of time and energy into this project and the fee will be £25 per person selected.  Send very clear images of your work please.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Everyone who makes original work and is moved by the theme. This is not a general "make my work fit the topic" project; be sensitive to the description.
How much does it cost?
£25 per person to participate.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Yes. Across all social media platforms and online through various arts organisations. You are expected to do your part too! Everyone whose work is selected will have their website published, name listed and work clearly shown as part of an online project, the web link of which can be shared worldwide.
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
Honest, responsive, thoughtful. Be yourself. Pay attention to the guidelines and keep it simple.
