OPEN CALL by WILD VISION COLLECTIVE. Light:Space is an opportunity to submit work as part of an exhibition that will be displayed in the windows of empty shops in the Wellington Square shopping centre and ARC, Stockton on Tees.

WILD VISION COLLECTIVE would like to create an exhibition that brings light and hope in the pandemic and brightens up the darkest time of year, by using the windows of empty shops in Stockton on Tees and the ARC Arts Centre, to create an Art Trail of works that use light, video and movement. The work is designed to be displayed at night, so must incorporate elements of light and/or video. Key words/phrases may include 'light in the darkness', hope, luminescence, liminal space, glow, lumiere, lucent, light the dark, spotlight, beacon, light trail.

Some of the window spaces are very large and therefore, site-specific ideas are welcome. Work must be suitable for public display to all ages. No nudity, profanity, or material that may cause offence.

A £200 'people's choice' prize will be awarded to one successful artist.
