An opportunity for all artists to submit work on the subject of GENDER for an exhibition in May 2019, all mediums of mediums of work will be accepted. *DEADLINE: 22.03.18*
Artists are asked to submit work on the topic of GENDER - an exhibition exploring what gender means.
We would like to keep this as open as possible so all mediums of work will be acceptable.
The show will take place at the beginning of May 2019 at Prism Contemporary Gallery in Blackburn, UK.

Display options will be discussed with curators for digital, audio and sculptural work – artist may be asked to provide plinths or digital display units etc.
All work delivered must be properly packaged and have a tag with the artists name and title of the work on the packaging.
Artists must provide the same artwork as submitted to the open call, any other work presented which has not be confirmed by the judging panel will be returned.
Artwork will be delivered and reviewed before the hang, if the work is not at a gallery standard it may not be included.
Artists will be given a time slot in which they can deliver the work to the gallery, work must be delivered in person or by an arranged courier which has previously been discussed with the curators at an earlier date.
On arrival the condition of the work will be checked and logged, any change to the work whilst in the show the artist will be notified immediately.
Any work that has arrived damaged will be unable to be in the show, we will arrange a pick-up date for collection by the artist.
No funding is available towards transportation, installation or origination of the work.
Work will be packaged and sent as it came to the gallery.
Artists will be given an allocated time slot to collect the work from the gallery, any art work being taken by courier must be arranged prior to the collection date with curators.
If the artwork is not collected within the allocated time slot there will be a weekly charge added until the work has been collected, work not collected within 4 months will be disposed of.
Condition of the artwork will be checked and logged before collection.
All work will need a signature on release.
