We are looking for 2 Polish and 1 German artists to complete a group of 6 Polish and German artists that will work, live and create together in Krakow, Poland this September!

We will be working on a project concerning the Polish cultural and political scene and address the issues of censorship and press and artistic freedom that the government of  Poland has been imposing on the museum/gallery scene for the last couple of years. 

We offer a space for international and interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and ideas between artists in all stages of their career and working with various media - writers, visual media artists, performers, journalists etc. The end product of this residency will be an exhibition that will open on the 24th of September at Re:Kultura in Krakow, Poland, as well as a printed publication. After a short exhibition time in Poland the show will travel to Hanover, Germany.

Dates: 6th - 26th September 2021

Place: Re:kultura, Kraków, Poland 

Fees: We cover the costs of accomodation, studio and gallery space, materials and travel
